Four Months of Joy

It's been four months since our little spit fire of a Corbin joined our family.

Corbin must be held. He does not like getting left out, put down, or out of site for a moment. He makes the sweetest coos and squeals that quickly turn into crying and wailing of not attended to promptly! I call it the cute before the storm. I get a good laugh when people don't believe me either and think he's just being so cute, then BOOM! full-on sadness!

At his doctor's appointment, C weighed 15 lbs 2 oz (43%), 25 in (44%) long, and a head circumference in the 79%! It's funny that he's so much "smaller" than his brother, but still seems like a perfect buddy to me. He's in size 2 diapers and mostly 6m clothes now.

Corbin has rolled over from tummy to back and back to tummy now! He's a rolling, scooting machine. If I put him on the floor, he'll do at LEAST a 180* by the time I'm done folding a few clothes. He scoots around in his bed the mornings, welcoming me with Upside Down Baby Smiles in the morning. He's a goof.

Big Brother O is getting more into his roll. He'll play on the floor by him and hand him a toy or two. He'll entertain him for a minute when he gets fussy while I'm getting dinner ready or something. Owen even held him the other night sitting on Daddy's lap!

Four months and already Corbin holds such a special place in our hearts.
